Hashtag member Franco Hernandez and her girlfriend went to Davao Oriental with co-member Tom Doromal along with 2 others.  They were riding a boat then suddenly big waves hit them that made Franco and his girlfriend fall into the water. The news was confirmed by Franco’s handler, Cornerstone Entertainment Inc., and entertainment reporter MJ Felipe when he relayed the news on DZMM. The host at that time, Ogie Diaz, felt really shocked and went speechless after hearing the news. The two were rescued back to the boat, but Franco was already unconscious at that point. He was rushed into a hospital, but sadly, he was declared dead on arrival. The doctors did their best to revive Franco but it is impossible.
